EGBAR Raises $175k in 21st Annual Charity Golf Tournament

The EGBAR Foundation held its 21st Annual EGBAR Golf Tournament at Strawberry Farms Country Club on Dec. 13. The fundraiser charity event was attended by 196 golfers and 230 diners, and generated $175,000 to support benefactors the Gary Sinise Foundation, Amore For Dogs and the Bolsa Chica Conservancy.

Bruce FaBrizio, founder of EGBAR Foundation and CEO and Chairman of Sunshine Makers, Inc. (manufacturers of Simple Green), welcomed golfers to a full day of fun and fundraising on the links. Attendees enjoyed putting contests, a "Beat the Dealer" mulligan game and more as part of a spirited day on the links. Following a wine tasting and dinner, guests took part in a silent auction and live auction for EGBAR benefactors. They also heard a moving story on the human spirit from a wounded U.S. military veteran, and recipient of the Gary Sinise Foundation's remarkable outreach.

The EGBAR Foundation, made up of 100% volunteerism, donate 100% of tournament proceeds directly to these meaningful organizations, to support helping our hero Veterans, rescuing and adopting dogs from shelters and educating youth about the effects of pollution downstream. It's part of an important mission to educate, motivate and make a valuable impact for the benefit of our planet, our beneficiaries and all future generations.

Major sponsors included Wells Fargo, Goodwin Co., OBM, Silgan Dispensing Systems and more.
