HOW TO CLEAN A BBQ COVER

What You Need

Weekend barbecuing is a long time tradition in backyards around the world. But keeping the grill and BBQ grill cover clean can be a real challenge, with sauce splatter, burger grease and dirt and dust from being left outdoors.

You want to choose a cleaner that's strong enough to handle the mess but won't leave behind any harsh chemical residues that can interfere with your food. Our All-Purpose Cleaner is non-flammable, powerful, and U.S. EPA Safer Choice Certified. The perfect combination to get the job done right without compromising on safety.

DIRECTIONS FOR CLEANING A BBQ COVER:

If you're unsure about how Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner will affect a surface, be sure to spot test before cleaning. Do not allow cleaner to dry on the surface.

  1. Remove any food or debris from the grill cover.
  2. Hose down the grill cover to help the cleaner penetrate the surface material.
  3. Spray Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner over the entire surface of the grill cover.
  4. Let sit. Allow a few minutes for the cleaner to penetrate. Scrub soiled areas with non-abrasive cleaning sponges or soft-bristled brushes.
  5. Rinse all surfaces with a garden hose or a bucket of clean water.
  6. Air dry after cleaning.
  7. Repeat as necessary for tough grime and stains.
