16th Annual EGBAR Foundation Golf Tournament

Huntington Beach, CA - Sunshine Makers, Inc., the manufacturers of the Simple Green line of cleaning products, is proud to report its continued support of the EGBAR Foundation with the 16th Annual EGBAR Foundation Golf Tournament at the Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Coast, California. It was a beautiful December day on the golf course overlooking the ocean, and Simple Green fans, friends and family had a great day of golf, good food, and fun.

All of the proceeds from the tournament this year will again benefit America's Schools! Each registrant for the tournament gets to designate a school to be included in the total donation. The 2011 tournament raised over $100,000.00 which was used to support music, athletic, science and literacy programs, and to fund new books, equipment and other necessities for each of the schools. This year, with the proceeds from the Golf Tournament and the addition of a matching contribution from the EGBAR Foundation, the total contribution made to pre-schools, elementary schools, high schools, colleges, universities and foundations across the United States and Canada, was again, over $100,000.00, and was shared with 56 schools across the US and Canada!

Sunshine Makers, Inc. and The EGBAR Foundation are very proud to support educational programs across the United States and Canada, and very honored by the heartfelt thank you letters and photos that have come in from children all over the country!

Celebrating over 35 years of innovation and leadership, Sunshine Makers Inc., makers of Simple Green, is proud to play a part in our future, by supporting our future innovators and leaders. The EGBAR Foundation was established in 1989 by Bruce P. FaBrizio, CEO and Chairman of Sunshine Makers, Inc., to clearly demonstrate the corporation's steadfast commitment towards environmental and educational concerns.

EGBAR is an acronym for Everything's Gonna Be All Right.
