Simple Green Deck and Fence Cleaner is ideal for both manual and pressure washing your entire deck, lifting dirt, grease and sap from wood and composite surfaces. If using a pressure washer, avoid using a maximum pressure setting, as too much force can damage the wood fibers. Spot test on a remote or hidden part of the deck to ensure appropriate pressure.

Not for use on untreated wood.

USING A PRESSURE WASHER

1. Clear the surface of your deck and sweep thoroughly. Then hose down the surface of your deck.
2. Place the pressure washer's siphon and filter into your Simple Green Deck and Fence Cleaner container, or pour into the pressure washer's detergent reservoir.
3. Apply Simple Green to the deck in sections, keeping the tip at least 2 feet from the surface of your deck.
4. Allow 5-10 minutes for the solution to loosen soils. Do not allow the solution to dry on the surface.
5. Scrub visibly dirty areas lightly to remove heavy soils.
6. Rinse well with pressure washer, making sure to go with the grain of your deck. Be sure to remove all cleaner and lifted dirt from your deck.

MANUAL APPLICATION

1. Clear the surface of your deck and sweep thoroughly. Then hose down the surface of your deck.
2. Mix 2 cups Simple Green Deck and Fence Cleaner per gallon of water.
3. Apply the solution in sections, using a pump sprayer or soft, non-abrasive brush.
4. Allow 5-10 minutes for the solution to loosen soils. Do not allow the solution to dry on the surface of your deck.
5. Scrub visibly dirty areas lightly to remove heavy soils.
6. Rinse well with hose, making sure to remove all cleaner and lifted dirt from your deck.
