How to Clean a Kennel (Plastic)
Plastic kennels and crates can be a magnet for viruses and bacteria that could harm your dog or cat. Regular cleaning of your kennel will remove messes and prevent buildup of dirt, hair and grime. Keeping the kennel, toys and surrounding area clean can help keep your pet healthy, and spare you costly veterinarian bills. Don't forget the water and food bowls as well.
- Remove any gross buildup or physical matter from the kennel prior to cleaning.
- Spray full-strength Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner directly on the surface.
- Scrubbing with a soft bristle brush or non-abrasive scrubbing pad provides agitation that will help to loosen any buildup and will ensure a thoroughly clean, residue free surface.
- Rinse with clean water.
- Dry and polish with a clean microfiber pad, non-abrasive cloth, or paper towels. For reflective surfaces, glossy finishes, polished metals and glass, this final step will leave a sparkling clean, streak free surface.
