HOW TO CLEAN PLAY TENTS AND TUNNELS
What You Need
Pop-up tents open up a world of adventure and imagination for kids. Whether you set them up indoors or outdoors, for playtime, snacks, or naps, they are quickly and easily dirtied.
Sometimes soap and water alone don't get the job done, and harsh cleaning chemicals from some popular products can irritate the skin. Most play tents are treated with waterproofing, mildew-resistance, and stain-resistance chemicals, so it's important to clean these tents and tunnels with a cleaner that won't deteriorate these. It's also not necessary or advisable to soak the tent for the same reason.
Lastly, avoid throwing kid tents in the washing machine, as laundering them could stretch or tear the tent fabric, mesh, and seams.
Simple Green All-Purpose Cleaner is a cleaner, degreaser, deodorizer, and stain remover that removes food residue, dirt, grime, and more without degrading or discoloring the tent material. The clean-rinsing formula allows you to clean kids' play tents without having to worry about lingering residue that could cause skin irritation.
Tip: Always clean the tent before folding it flat and storing it in its pouch or carry case. To prevent mold or mildew, never fold and store the tent when wet or damp.
