HOW TO CLEAN AN RV RADIATOR

What You Need

Radiators prevent your RV engine from overheating. As dirt, grease, and grime build up over time, it makes it harder for the radiator to cool the engine down. With Simple Green Pro HD Heavy-Duty Cleaner, it's easy to cut through the buildup and keep your cooling system working the way it should.

Directions for Cleaning an RV Radiator:

Tip: Make sure the engine has cooled down prior to cleaning the radiator.

Tip: Always follow manufacturer's complete instructions for cleaning and maintenance.

  1. Dilute solution. In a large bucket or container, mix 1 part Simple Green Pro HD Heavy-Duty Cleaner to 15 parts water (dilution ratio of 1:15).
  2. Drain system. Carefully drain the old coolant from the radiator.
  3. Rinse System. Flush the system with clean water to remove any dirt.
  4. Add solution. Fill the radiator with the diluted Simple Green Pro HD Heavy-Duty Cleaner.
  5. Start engine. Let the engine run for the manufacturer's recommended amount of time.
  6. Flush system. Rinse the system with clean water.
  7. Refill radiator. Add coolant or appropriate solution to your RV's radiator.
