HOW TO REMOVE HARD WATER SPOTS

Hard water stains contain a high amount of mineral deposits like lime, silica, and calcium. When the water dries, these deposits are left behind, leaving stubborn, unsightly spots on glass, granite, stainless steel sinks, shower doors, pool tiles, irons, toilets, tea kettles, and other surfaces.

Cleaning and removing these stubborn water stains can sometimes be tough, and even dangerous, depending on your choice of descaler.

Simple Green Lime Scale Remover is specially formulated to effectively dissolve and remove these deposits without traditional harmful acids. It can be used both as a spray and as a highly-effective foam.

DIRECTIONS

  1. Spray onto surface. Thoroughly coat the area with Simple Green Lime Scale Remover or spray the cleaner onto a damp sponge or cloth to apply it.
  2. Soak. Let it remain on the surface for 1-2 minutes to penetrate the scale.
  3. Scrub. Use a stiff, non-metallic brush to loosen heavy deposit build-up around fixtures.
  4. Rinse thoroughly. Immediately rinse the surface with water.
  5. Dry. To ensure it is completely dry – since you don't want water spots left behind – use a squeegee or a lint-free cloth to remove excess water.

If you're faced with stubborn calcium deposits on a shower head or faucet, some Simple Green Lime Scale Remover and a small plastic bag provide an easy and frugal fix.

  1. Pour. Fill about half of your plastic bag with Simple Green Lime Scale Remover.
  2. Attach. Fasten the bag to the shower head or the end of the faucet using a rubber band or twist-tie.
  3. Let it soak. Leave the bag hanging and the clogged faucet or shower head submerged for about 10 minutes.
  4. Scrub. Remove the bag and scrub the fixture with a stiff, non-metallic brush.
  5. Rinse and wipe dry. Immediately rinse the area thoroughly and wipe it with a dry microfiber or lint-free cloth.
Be sure to spot test before use on brass or specialty coated fixtures and surfaces. See product label for other surface compatibility.
Follow all label safety precautions.
