What is CIP?

CIP is an acronym for "Clean-In-Place", a method of cleaning equipment without taking it apart, commonly used to clean tanks, piping systems, and other areas prone to contamination.

What is COP?

COP is an acronym for "Clean-Out-Of-Place", a cleaning method used when equipment is too complex to clean in place or can't be cleaned where it's used. This includes items like fittings, clamps, hoses, and impellers. The equipment must be disassembled and taken to a cleaning station, then reassembled after cleaning.
